Who we are
Chayil SecureX is a cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance advisory firm based in Accra, Ghana. We are the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact us at info@chayilsecurex.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, organisation, optional phone number, sector, topic and message.
- Assessment results. The GRC maturity assessment runs in your browser and your answers are not sent to us. If you choose to share your results, we receive a summary of your scores together with the contact details you provide.
- Course registration. Registrations for our training courses may be collected through a Google Form. Google processes those submissions under its own terms, and we use the details to manage your enrolment and contact you about the course.
- Messages you send us. Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you initiate.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- Your display preference. If you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is saved in your browser. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If a page embeds a YouTube video, nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; after that, YouTube's privacy-enhanced player may set cookies under its own policy.
How and why we use it
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, to provide and administer our services, to keep this website secure, and to meet our legal obligations. We process personal data on the basis of your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running a secure and effective business, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the website and handle email and form submissions, under obligations of confidentiality, and with authorities where the law requires. If a provider processes data outside Ghana, we take steps to ensure it remains protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement and any period the law requires. We review enquiry records at least once a year and delete those we no longer need.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, patient records or other sensitive data through the website form.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about you, to give you access to it, to correct it, to delete it where the law allows, and to stop using it for direct marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@chayilsecurex.com. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18.
