Common questions

Do I need prior cybersecurity experience?

No. Both tracks are designed for beginners, and Module 1 of each starts from foundational concepts. A basic comfort with computers is all that is required.

Can I take both tracks?

Yes. Depending on the schedule they run one after the other or in parallel. Talk to us before enrolling so you can plan the workload. The 10% bundle discount applies either way.

What happens if I miss a session?

Sessions are recorded and available to enrolled students, so you can catch up online. Attending the lab sessions is strongly recommended, because hands-on work cannot be fully replicated afterwards.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Students who complete all modules and the capstone project receive the Chayil SecureX Professional Certificate for their track. It is a certificate from Chayil SecureX, not a vendor certification such as CISA or CEH. The tracks prepare you to sit those separately.

What equipment do I need?

For the GRC track, a standard computer with Microsoft Office or a compatible application. For the Ethical Hacking track, a laptop or desktop with at least 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended) and 50 GB of free disk space for virtual machines.

Is the ethical hacking track legal?

Yes. It runs entirely in a controlled, authorised lab environment. You are never asked to access any real system without explicit written authorisation, and all activity is conducted within Ghanaian law.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, for Ghanaian students, subject to approval. Contact us before registering to confirm your eligibility.

What is the refund policy?

Requests before the start date are reviewed case by case. After the programme begins, fees are non-refundable. Contact us if you have concerns.
